The actor is celebrating his 45th birthday today (July 24) and on the occasion, he announced the sequel to Bichagadu tiled as Bichagadu 2 in Telugu and Pichaikaran 2 in Tamil. The movie that will fit the floors by 2021 iis going to be directed by Priya Krishnaswamy and will have music by Vijay Antony and cinematography by Theni Eswar.

Apart from this actor Vijay Antony has three films lined up, Tamizharasan produced by FEFSI Siva, Agni Siragugal for Amma creations T.Siva and Khaki for director Senthil from open theatre and Infiniti Film ventures.
His stint as a producer has enabled him to empathise with the producers of his films which is why he announced a 25% pay cut on his salary to ease the burden on them.
The actor kept in mind the various losses that will be incurred by the producers due to the delay and postponement of the films. This lead him to come forward and offer a 25% reduction in his salary. The move is said to help producers bring down the cost and ensure a smooth release of the films.Commenting on the bold move made by the actor, T.Siva of Amma creations said, “It is very kind of Vijay Antony to accept a salary reduction considering the situation we are in due to the lockdown for over 50 days and further delay that’s expected in releasing the film. We request that all the other actors and technicians should also come forward and accept reduced salaries so that the overall cost of all the current film producers reduced to tide over the crisis that all of us are facing. By accepting this reduction in agreed salary, Vijay Antony is becoming an example for being a good producers actor and we wish him all success in his future films.” Other producers have also welcomed Vijay Antonys voluntary salary reduction support.
