Recently, on the occasion of Mother’s Day the doting boyfriend made a special post for his better half. He wished Nayanthara by calling her ‘the mother’ of his ‘future children’. While the post was received well by many, some netizens were quick to react negatively.

 One user’s trolling comment earned him Vignesh Shivan’s super witty reply and shut him up. 

In a series of Instagram posts, Vignesh wished Nayanthara’s mother, his mother and Nayanthara herself. This seems to have been missed by a follower who mocked the director’s wish to his girlfriend. Various other followers seem to have agreed with the comment as it received numerous likes. However, Vignesh Shivan wished him a happy Mother’s Day and praised the user’s mother for giving birth to a well mannered, nice and kind hearted person in a sarcastic manner. 

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan met on the sets of the film naanum rowdy dhaan which was directed by the latter. The two have been in a steady relationship since then and continue to amaze fans with their vacation pictures, birthday posts and PDA. 

Nayanthara is all set to act in Vignesh Shivans next film alongside Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi titled kaathuvaakula rendu Kadhal. The film is said to be about a love triangle.
