Been getting messages like “When is my Divorce?” etc. Just because I’m wearing a swimsuit? Wow. Get out of 1920 aunties & uncles. Come to 2021! What is problematic is not the negative comments. But the way we are thinking as a society. If a woman’s clothing is the reason for her divorce. Then shouldn’t everyone “Properly Dressed” be in happy marriages??? I am extremely fortunate to have a secure husband like Sanjay who shares different moral beliefs with me. He told me to ignore & not to address this. But I simply cannot brush this off. To the haters – I cannot change your toxic, narrow mind or extremely regressive outlook on life. I just hope the women in your life stand up for the sexist, oppressive & downright insulting way in which you look at a woman & her individuality.” She ended the message with a positive hashtag, #LiveAndLetLive.
The actor got married last month in a five-star resort in Chennai that entailed a traditional Tamil wedding ceremony followed by a Sindhi-style wedding in the evening. The pictures of the wedding went viral on social media.
The actor’s recent giveback to the trolls and continued posting such pictures lauded her much appreciation from her fans and supporters on social media. She even recently posted a reel giving us a glimpse of her trip.
She is an Indian actor and theatre performer who has appeared in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her debut in Neethaane En Ponvasantham in a supporting role to the lead that gained an appreciation for her performance in the movie. She was last seen in a Telugu movie named Gully Rowdy.
