For actress Vidya Balan, marriage has definitely changed her for the best. She reveals how she always thought that there will never be a time when she settles down in life. The actress says that marriage changed her and that she never thought of settling down until she met her husband Siddharth. Vidya Balan speaks of the single life saying how one can do whatever they want when they are single. Adding to the statement, she says life changes when you are married and living with someone because you begin to value what each one wants.

Vidya married Siddharth Roy Kapur in 2012. The actress is very selective about her scripts. The actress says that she always considers the script and sees if she would watch a movie like that and asks herself if she can walk into the shoes of that role. The actress will be seen next in Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh which is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and shares screen space with Arjun Rampal.

Speaking of her character, Vidya says “Durga Rani Singh is complicated. She is someone who seems and rather wants to be invisible. She does not want to interact with the world and lives in her own world. Then a certain situation of her life challenges her completely and she comes out of her shell. I never thought a person like her can evolve .That complication fascinated me.”

The film is set release on December 2.
