Several reports suggested that Vishal had broken up with Varalakshmi through his manager. The couple have reportedly been dating for many years now. Also sources suggest that Varalakshmi recently had a fight with Vishal over the suspension of her father, Sarathkumar from the Nadigar Sangam.
Varalakshmi has now put up a tweet clearing the air that she is not not dating anyone but her work. Here's what she wrote,

Varalakshmi's family has been going through a bad phase for more than a year now. All trouble started when Vishal decided to run for the coveted Nadigar Sangam elections alleging that there been rampant corruption taking places in the South Indian Film Artists Association. Sarathkumar has been heading the Association commonly called the Nadigar Sangam till 2015 when he lost to Vishal, Nasser and team.
Recently, Sarathkumar’s wife and Varalakshmi’s step mom, Radhika Sarathkumar tweeted saying that Vishal held too much hatred in him. She made the statement after both Radhika and Sarathkumar were suspended from the Nadigar Sangam. The present President, actor Naseer had filed a case of corruption against Sarathkumar in the Madars High court.
