Vaali Re-release: Fans recognise and appreciate Ajith’s and Simran’s acting

Vaali, featuring Ajith in double action, Simran, Jyothika, and Vivek, is written and directed by S. J. Surya. The movie was released in 1999 and the story revolves around Deva, who has hearing and speech impairment, who falls for his twin brother’s wife and puts them through a series of emotional traumas to separate them and win his brother’s wife. The film was re-released recently, 24 years after its original release, and received massive recognition from the fans.

Recently, the female lead of the film, actress Simran, took to her Twitter handle to repost a post where a fan appreciated Ajith’s and Simran’s acting skills. The actress said, “OMG this scene. I will never forget the way SJS enacted for me,” to which, actor and director, S. J. Suryah replied, “I did my job, but Simran ji the way U and Ajith Sir carried it like anything people r still celebrating like a new movie”.

The movie is known for its portrayal of Ajith, who brilliantly plays the roles of both the protagonist and antagonist. Jyothika, on the other hand, made her debut in the film and played the character of Shiva’s imaginary girlfriend.
