Ram and Jaanu, also known as Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha are touted to be a hit pair now and a sensation in Kollywood. Remakes in Telugu and Kannada were made but, this just remains unbeatable till date. The reel life couple were showered with so much love that little toys were made of everyone’s dearest Ram and Jaanu. The film till date remains a great romantic film in Tamil.

There are several scenes from the film that are close to the hearts of viewers. Director Premkumar, on his social media page, shared an unseen video of the film’s making, where Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha are seen having a conversation inside the hotel. And the video has turned viral with movies buffs sharing it and commenting on the video.

The film had music composed by Govind Vasantha,  who is best known as the founding member of the Kerala-based band Thaikkudam Bridge.

On the professional front, the diva has five upcoming Tamil films including Mani Ratnams ‘Ponniyin Selvam’. The actor is said to be sharing screen-space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi,Chiyaan Vikram and Jayam Ravi in the film. It is rumoured that Trisha will be playing the Chola queen Kunthavai Nachiyar in the film.

The actor is also playing the lead role in the film Garjanai, a remake of the Bollywood film NH10. The film has finished filming and is waiting on a finalised release date. Her 60th film

Paramapadham Vilayattu was due to be released on 28th February. Trisha is also playing the lead role in A.R.Murugadoss’s action thriller film Raangi.
The actress recently made headlines for walking out of the Chiranjeevi’s Telugu film Acharya. Trisha had earlier confirmed that due to creative differences the actress would be walking out of the film. However, a shocked Chiranjeevi stated that there was no creative differences and that he was shocked that she even made the decision to walk out of the film.

Her second Malayalam film, Ram was said to be released in 2020. However, the film has now been rescheduled and is looking at a 2021 release. The film will be Trisha’s second Malayalam film and will see her paired opposite Mohanlal in an action thriller genre.
