Trisha’s Next Film Will Give You The Chills!

Check it out!

Trisha Krishnan, between vacations and promoting her next film, has shared the first-look of yet another project of hers! Titled Parampadham Vilayattu, Trisha appears in the film’s first-look poster with her hands tied in a dingy room. A hostage crisis, there’s more to what the poster conveys, suggesting that it will be an intense female-centric film.

She will play a mother on screen again, the last being her role in Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal. She will be seen playing a doctor who is also mother to a child. The actress will be performing action stunts too at par with Hollywood’s stunt sequences. Needless to say, work has begun for the project with a stylish avatar of the actress in process.

The 35-year-old actress was last seen in Mohini, a film that had been in the works for a long time. The film was met with mixed responses and has ceased to do well at the box-office. She has ’96’ releasing on October 4, where she will star alongside Vijay Sethupathi. The film’s trailer shows that it’s a romantic drama with a lot of intensity, focusing on childhood lovers who reunite and pick up from where they left off.

The actress recently came on board for Rajinikanth’s next film – Petta – directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film has garnered a lot of interest, in addition to a stellar cast including Simran, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and others. Usually known for her long locks, Trisha has also cut her hair for the film, sporting a fun bob.

Trisha has other films in the pipeline including Garjannai and Sethuranga Vettai – both the films whose release have been shelved for a while now.

Meanwhile, the actress has been swamped by trolls making fun of her for posing with dolphins. The actress recently shared pictures of her posing with a dolphin in a pool. She had taken some time off and visited Dubai for a short vacation. Trisha shared the picture and captioned, “Believe in love at first sight.” Many were left disappointed with them slamming the actress.

The comments were directed at her for posing with the dolphin considering they are all held in captivity and not in their natural habitat – the ocean. Having been an ardent supporter of animals rights and involving herself with several PETA work, fans were quick enough to lash out on her for her hypocrisy.
