Trisha To Reunite With Vikram For Saamy 2?

Vikram is currently basking in the success of his latest blockbuster Iru Mugan. Vikram has finally realized that doing a single movie for 2-3 years is not a great option as audience forget your presence. Luckily, Vikram has a mass fan following and his performance has always stood out in his movies that has made the audience stick with him for so long. Now, Vikram plans to do more movies in short span of time. The 50-year-old actor will be reviving his famous cop role of Saamy with director Hari for its sequel! The blockbuster which released in 2003 made Vikram shoot to stardom.

Trisha who played Vikram's wife in the film has been approached to join the project. The film is said to be the continuation of the original and it is vital to rope in Trisha. The actress however has not given her nod yet, but the makers are hopeful to have Trisha in the project. The director Hari says that the film sequel should have been made much earlier, but somehow did not fall in place. Now, he is keen on making the project bigger, in terms of scale and budget. It is said that the film will take off from where the original ended, a rarity in Kollywood. Meanwhile Hari is busy wrapping up his third film of the Singam franchise with Suriya.

Harris Jayaraj who scored music for Saamy which topped the charts in 2003 will be composing music for the sequel too.
