Trisha was last seen in LEO where she played the female lead opposite Vijay. The movie was one of highest highest-grossing films from last year. In addition to that, she also acted in a film called The Road where she played the central character. A women-led film, the movie was a thriller-drama where she gave one of her best performances. 2023 was the year of Trisha, with Ponniyin Selvan 2 also creating magic for moviegoers.
The principal production for Vishwambhara started last year in the month of November where scenes that excluded the main leads were filmed. The movie is set to be made under a budget of 250 crores, clearly a big production. It’s said to be a socio-fantasy drama that would come in theatres in January 2025. Trisha took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her welcome on set. This film would mark a comeback for Trisha in the Telugu film industry.

Trisha’s upcoming projects this year include Vidaa Muyarchi with Ajith, the shooting for which was taking place in Azerbaijan. It is one of the most anticipated films of this year. In addition, she is also part of a Malayalam film with Tovino Thomas, titled Identity, the shooting for which was also underway.
