Trisha was initially very excited about the project and even did a photoshoot before the film could go on floors. Trisha sang a song for the first time in her career for Nayagi. Now, sources say the actress is miffed with the producers and will take legal action against them for not paying remuneration and causing her mental agony.
Nayagi is a bilingual shot in Telugu and Tamil. The Telugu version was released earlier this year and bombed at the box office. Looks the film has been jinxed, as the the movie released today, 16th September and Tamil Nadu declared bandh in support of the Cauvery issue. All films till 6PM has been cancelled in the state leaving the producers of the movie in a fix.
