Trisha Files a Defamation Case Against A. V. Raju

The actress also shared a thank you to her supporters.

Trisha Krishnan is a renowned Indian actress who has made a name for herself in the Tamil and Telugu cinema industries. Her journey in the film industry began after she won the prestigious Miss Chennai pageant in 1999. She is widely known for her exceptional performances in movies like Ghilli, Abhiyum Naanum, Vinnaithaandi Varuvayaa, and Leo, among others.

 

In a recent press meeting, Ex-MLA of AIDMK, A. V. Raju put forth defaming allegations against actress Trisha. The actress stood up for herself on her social media handles. “It’s disgusting to repeatedly see low lives and despicable human begins who will stoop down to any level to gain attention. Rest assured, necessary and severe action will be taken. Anything that needs to be said and done henceforth will be from my legal department,” said actress Trisha on her Instagram and Twitter handle.

Today, the actress took to her Instagram and Twitter handle to share the lawyer’s notice, filing a defamation case against the ex-MLA of AIDMK, A. V. Raju. In her lawyer’s notice, the actress demanded a certain amount of money as compensation for the defaming comments, to cease giving any other defamatory statements, to take down the videos posted on social media, and an unconditional apology to be published in a reputed English and Tamil newspapers, youtube channels and a press interview. The actress also posted a “Thank You” note extending her gratitude to those who supported and stood by her side on this issue.
