Last year august actress Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli announced to the world that they are expecting their first child. In a beautiful Instagram picture, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricket Captain Virat Kohli confirmed that the couple is expecting their first child. She has also confirmed that the baby is due January 2021. Taking to social media, Anushka wrote, “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021 ❤️🙏.”

The couple who have been married from 2017, welcome their baby girl today. Virat made the announcement on Twitter – mother and baby are both doing well, he wrote and signed off with a request for privacy. Virat tweeted: “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time.”

After a while, the couple has introduced their baby girl on social media with a gorgeous picture. The couple has named their girl Vamika. “We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one , Vamika ❤️ has taken it to a whole new level ! Tears , laughter , worry , bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes ! Sleep is elusive 😛 but our hearts are SO full ❤️ Thanking you all for your wishes , prayers and good energy 🤗,” wrote Anushka on ber social media.

Virat Kohli, the captain of India’s cricket team, was granted paternity leave by the Board of Cricket Control in India or BCCI and flew home from Australia towards the end of December after playing the first of a four-match Test series.
