Born in the small town of Madikeri in Karnataka, Rashmika had a simple upbringing. Her parents, not being ready to send their daughter to the big city, let her pursue her high school in Mysore, before moving to Bangalore to pursue her undergraduate degree in psychology, journalism, and literature. Two weeks into college, one of Rashmika’s friends signed her name up for the Fresh Face Bangalore competition. Rashmika, who was completely unaware of what she was getting into, didn’t have a clue about what the competition was all about and found out that her name was enrolled only a day before. However, she went for it.

From Geetha Govindham to Sarilerru Neevvaru, Rashmika has been unstoppable. But, it was really her first with Vijay Deverakonda that made things unstoppable for the young actress. The two have remained best friends ever since and they even did another film titled Dear Comrade together.

Social media trends everytime these two are spotted together and this time a few videos and pictures of the duo have been giving fans the sweetest shock. In a throwback interview with TNM, Rashmika stated that she was once afraid with her co-star Vijay Devorkonda. “Nothing has changed. I was scared when I first shot with him as I’m scared of new people. But then, Vijay is a very chill fellow and I found it easy to work with him. Shooting for this film was easier as I knew his frequency, his vibe and it was easy to match up to it – I didn’t even have to try as we’ve been friends for quite a long time now. Our characters rub off on each other and the best part about our friendship is that I don’t have to try hard to understand the guy.”

On the professional front Rashmika Mandanna has Allu Arjun’s Pushpa in Tollywood after two hits Sarrileru Neekevvaru and Bheeshma. She made her Kollywood debut with Karthi’s Sultan.
