We all think actress Aishwarya Rajesh started her career with Neethana Avan in 2010. She was credited as a lead only after Attakathi in 2012. However, this talented South actress first made her debut as a child artist in 1996 with Rambantu. In 2012, she started doing small films like Pannaiyarum Padminiyum and Kaaka Muttai which gave her a lot of fame. She started getting recognised for her talent after these films. Now, she is one of the most talented actresses here.
In March this year, reports suggested that the actress is uniting with Lock-up fame director Charles for a dark-comedy thriller film in Tamil. Now the makers have officially revealed the details of the film. This dark-comedy film is titled Soppana Sundari and Aishwarya Rajesh is playing the lead in the film.
In the video, she is seen tied up to a chair, screaming for help. Looks like Deepa and Lakshmipriyaa are playing her mom and sister respectively. While we wonder why she is kidnapped, the makers reveal that a bunch of kids have pranked her to show her a painting of herself. Aishwarya Rajesh then asks for the title of the film, and the title is revealed as ‘Soppana Sundarii. Watch the Promo video here:
National Award-winning actress Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli will be seen playing a key character in this film, which will also have Karunakaran, Redin Kingsley, Deepa Shankar, Mime Gopi and Sunil Reddy in its cast. The music for the film is being composed by Shivathmika and Ajmal.
Aishwarya Rajesh last made an appearance in Boomika in Tamil. She then did Tuck Jagdish and Republic in Telugu. She is currently awaiting the release of 4 films namely Driver Jamuna, Mohandas, The Great Indian Kitchen and Dhruva Natchathiram. Driver Jamuna is directed by Kinslin and has Aishwarya as the lead. Mohandas is a film directed by Murali Karthick, and the actress is co-starring with Vishnu Vishal and Indrajith Sukumaran in the film.
The Great Indian Kitchen is the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film with the same name. She will be reprising Nimisha Sajayan’s role in the film. Similarly, Dhruva Natchathiram is Gautam Vasudev Menon’s longtime project which he is working on along with Vikram. She is also filming for a Tamil film Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga and a Malayalam film Pulimada.
