The entire Soorarai Pottru team returned back from Delhi with their hands full with National Awards recently. While Suriya and Aparna won Best Actor and Actress respectively, the film also won Best Film, Best Screenplay and Best Music. Sudha Kongara is back on sets working on the Hindi remake of this national award-winning film, which is most likely moved on to its post-production stage.

For the unversed, Soorarai Pottru was based on the life of Captain GR Gopinath. Now, the latest buzz is that Sudha is most likely to direct yet another biopic. This time, the story of Ratan Tata. Reportedly the film is currently in pre-production and the research work for the story is in a crucial stage it is said that the projects will go on the ground at the end of 2023. The film is reportedly to star Suriya and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles. According to media reports, the script for the biography film based on Tata and sons is in full swing, and the movie’s principal photography is set to begin in October 2023.

Sudha is also reportedly doing a film for the makers of KGF, Hombale Films. If the latest buzz is to be believed, Sudha Kongara’s next is to be a women-centric film. According to speculations, she is looking at Keerthy Suresh to play the lead in the film. Keerthy Suresh who was last seen in Vaashi has won the National Award for Mahanti/Nadigayar Thilagam. Reports also suggest that Sudha is going to be the creative director of this untitled film, while her daughters are the executive producers. The shooting is said to commence soon, and the rest of the cast and crew details are likely to be revealed soon too.
