Sivakarthikeyan’s Price was released for Diwali 2022. It competed with Karthi’s Sardar, which was also released for the festive occasion. Unlike Sivakarthikeyan’s Don and Doctor, Prince did not fare that well amongst audiences. The film did not have great box office numbers as well. However, Sivakarthikeyan fans still seemed to enjoy the film. Now, the movie is all set to release on an OTT platform, for those who did not watch the film in theatres earlier.

Prince is slated to release on OTT on November 25th, 2022.  The movie will be available for streaming onDisney+ Hotstar app. The movie is directed by Anudeep (Jathi Ratnalu fame) and stars SK, Maria Ryaboshapka, Sathyaraj and Premgi in lead roles. Thaman scored music for the film with visuals by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Praveen KL. Prince revolves around a happy-go-lucky school teacher who falls in love with a young British woman who works as an English teacher at the same school. A comedy of errors ensues as he tries to woo her, leading to turns and conflicts that come crashing down on the couple, as they face the biggest battle of their lives – to get married.

On the work front, Sivakarthikeyan is currently filming for Maaveeran. Directed by Madonne Ashwin, Maaveeran also stars Aditi Shankar, Mysskin, Saritha, and Yogi Babu. He is meanwhile awaiting the release of Ayalaan. Ayalaan is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language science fiction comedy film directed by R. Ravikumar and produced by Kotapadi J. Rajesh under KJR Studios. It stars Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar and Isha Koppikar. The music is composed by A. R. Rahman, the cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah, and the editing is done by Ruben.
