Apart from the contestants, Bigg Boss is really a great entertainment on weekends because apart from all the break from the tasks, the audience most certainly enjoys the interrogation and the elimination session with the master of speeches, Kamal Haasan. The actor is definitely the light of the show just as much as the contestants are. It has only been a couple of months since the season four ended, the speculations for Bigg Boss 5 has already begun.

The latest buzz is that there would be a massive change and that too with the host. It is being reported that this year’s host is not Kamal Haasan but instead it is the newest sensational actor Silambarasan TR. With the constant political campaigning and running his Party Makkal Needhi Maiyyam and juggling between his shoot schedules, Kamal Haasan has his hands full this year.

On the brighter side, actor STR has a unique wittiness when it comes to stage speeches and he has always maintained a straightforwardness his fans love. He might be able to bring in a contemporary new twist as a host.

However, there has been no confirmation on the same from the team’s side, an official confirmation is awaited.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Simbu has Maanadu alongside Kalyani Priyadharshan directed by Venkat Prabhu, Pathu Thala and Nadhigalile Neeradum Sooriyan directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. While Kamal Haasan has Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram and Shankar’s Indian 2 apart from the 2021 Legislative Assembly Elections that is due on April 6th.
