After Ponmagal Vandhal Jyothika has been roped in for her next film directed by Ra Saravanan of Kathukutti fame. An official Pooja has been held and it has been revealed that actor Sasikumar will be seen playing Jyothika’s brother in the film. Suriya was present along with Jyothika during the Pooja and the first schedule is expected to begin soon.

In his recent interview, Sasikumar has revealed that in Saravanan’s film he plays Jyotika’s elder brother and Samuthirakani plays her husband. The film is all about how Jyotika tackles her upright husband and ruffian brother. Sasikumar says that the film will be an emotional drama in the lines of Pasamalar.

The film will be produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment and the other cast and crew include Soori, Kalaiyarasan, and Nivethitha Sathish of Sillu Karupatti fame in the lead.

Imman is composing the music for the film, Velraj cranks the camera and Ruben is taking care of the cuts. It has been reported that the other cast members have already begun shooting in the locations of Tanjore and portions of the film are all being completed. It is believed that the film is looking for a release by this year’s end.
