Samantha has been on a signing spree in recent times. Even while she awaits the release of Yashoda and Shaakunthalam, she is working on many other projects and is also signing a few more. For example, the actor is all set to make her Hollywood debut with ‘Arrangements of Love’ in which she is likely to play a queer woman. She recently took to her Instagram to announce the teaser release of her upcoming film, Yashoda.

The motion poster of the film was released a while back, and that itself felt like a teaser for Samantha fans. Apparently, 99% of the film’s shooting is also completed, while only a song is left to be shot in the slums of Hyderabad. To release it in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam simultaneously, Yashoda will hit big screens soon. Apart from Samantha, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and many others are to play major roles in the film. The film’s climax is supposedly shot in Kodaikanal nder the supervision of Fight Master Venkat.

Recently, fans have noticed that this busy actress is not making much of an appearance on her social media. We all know that Samantha went through a very difficult phase after she announced her mutual separation from her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. She became a subject of trolling and rumours and faced a lot of negativity on social media. Even now, many have been blaming her acting career and her choices as the reason for their divorce even after the couple have revealed that they separation is mutual. This is probably why Samantha is not seen much on the social media side.

Now, a source close to the actress has revealed to a media house, “There’s too much happening around and Sam is a person who wants to invest all energy on herself and nothing else. She is on social media detox and is prepping up for her role in Russo Brothers’ Citadel. She is training in martial arts as a part of her prep.” Samantha has restrained uploading any of her regular content. The main reason for staying away is because the actress has opted for a social media detox. She is expected to upload a movie release date poster soon for one of her upcoming movies.

On the work front, Samantha is also working on Kushi co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. She recently made an appearance on the Koffee with Karan season 7 trailer, and created a buzz for her statements. It is also reported that she is in the talks for the Hindi film ‘Immortal Ashwatthama’, starring Vicky Kaushal. She is reported to be headlining a film that is to be produced by Taapsee Pannu.
