Samantha has been on a signing spree in recent times. Even while she awaits the release of Yashodha and Shaakunthalam, she is working on many other projects and is also signing a few more. For example, the actor is all set to make her Hollywood debut with ‘Arrangements of Love’ in which she is likely to play a queer woman. But, fans have now noticed that this busy actress is not making much of an appearance on her social media.

We all know that Samantha went through a very difficult phase after she announced her mutual separation from her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. She became a subject of trolling and rumours and faced a lot of negativity on social media. Even now, many have been blaming her acting career and her choices as the reason for their divorce even after the couple have revealed that they separation is mutual. This is probably why Samantha is not seen much on the social media side.

Now, a source close to the actress has revealed to a media house, “There’s too much happening around and Sam is a person who wants to invest all energy on herself and nothing else. She is on social media detox and is prepping up for her role in Russo Brothers’ Citadel. She is training in martial arts as a part of her prep.” Samantha has restrained uploading any of her regular content. The main reason for staying away is because the actress has opted for a social media detox. She is expected to upload a movie release date poster soon for one of her upcoming movies.

Previously, reports suggested that she was signing for her Malayalam debut along with a famous Mollywood actor. While Samantha has done Tamil and Telugu films, she has not yet ventured into the Mollywood world. The buzz is that she is all set to make her debut in a film co-starring Dulquer Salmaan. The movie is called ‘King of Kotha’ and most likely to go on floors next month. Abilash Joshiy, Dulquer’s childhood friend, will be directing the film. Dulquer, recently revealed that this movie is his dream film and has been waiting for it to begin.

Samantha has not yet been confirmed in the film, but if reports are to be believed, she is in talks for the signing. If the movie happens, then Dulquer and Samantha will make a kickass onscreen couple. The film is touted to be a Gangster entertainer, as of now.

On the work front, Samantha is working on Kushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda, and Yashodha, while she awaits the release of Shaakunthalam. Recently it was also reported that Samantha Ruth Prabhu  graced the Indian Film Festival Melbourne which flagged off on August 12th.
