Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara, two of the industry’s top actresses were all set to come together for one film titled Kaathuvaakkula Rendu Kadhal also starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead and directed by Nayanthara’s beau Vignesh Shivan. Fans were ecstatic about this entertainer as it was two leading ladies coming together for the very first time.

Earlier there were speculations that Samantha would be walking out of the film as she was reportedly pregnant. Rubbishing those rumours the actress shared the film’s title on her social media handles very much confirming that she is a part of the film.

It was also reported that Sam was the second lead in the film after Nayanthara. Looks like it that it is now an issue. The Majili actress has reportedly had a conversation with Vignesh Shivan stating that her role in the film is extremely less compared to that of her costars. She has apparently informed that despite agreeing to be the second lead in the film, she should be given an equally meaty role but the director has somehow found it hard to recreate the role.

It has now been reported that the actress has walked out of the film and the team is now looking at another cast possibly Keerthy Suresh and Trisha among others. We are yet to receive an official confirmation from the team with regards to these speculations.

The film produced by Seven Screen Studios and Rowdy Pictures, music is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is looking at a February 2021 release.
