Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 premiered on 6 September 2020 with Akkineni Nagarjuna continuing as the host for the second time. Now the show is on full swing with a remarkably high TRP. The captaincy task for the eighth week in the Bigg Boss house ended up on an interesting note. In the beginning, the task looked like a physical task but in the end, it clearly proved that it is something that needed planning and strategy. Ariyana and Avinash were the contenders for the captaincy.

Meanwhile media reports are now making rounds that  host Nagarjuna has shoots scheduled for the upcoming weeks for his movie ‘Wild Dog’ which is happening in Manali. Now with that holding up his dates it is becoming difficult to fly to Hyderabad every weekend to shoot for Bigg Boss and now the makers are planning  to bring in a temporary host.

A similar situation took place even in the last season when Ramya Krishnana stepped in to host the show when Nagarjuna took a few weeks off. Now according to the latest media reports from Tollywood it is being speculated that Bigg Boos team is all set to sign Nagarjuna’s daughter-in-law Samantha Akkineni to host the show temporally. The actress has a number of movies in her piepeline including g ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ and a few female-centric film. It is not clear if Samnatha has confirmed to host the show.

Last season of Bigg Boss Telugu reached a new high as Telugu superstar Nagarjuna as the host won several hearts. The actor’s impeccable style of hosting and his huge fanbase to the TRP levels so high, that it was a new record set. With Nagarjuna’s impeccable hosting, Bigg Boss has reached a whopping TRP rating of 17.9. The first season, which was hosted by Junior NTR had recorded 16.18 TRP’s while Nani hosted show got 15.05 TRP’s during the launch episodes.

Infact, doting daughter-in-law Samantha Akkineni took to twitter to appreciate the Manmadhudu actor’s efforts. “Wowwwwwwwwwzaaaaa @iamnagarjuna the greatest,” tweeted Samantha.
