When asked what would be her response if she runs into the current partners of her exes at a party, she replied with a ‘hi.’ She further in an interview said, “With my exes also, I am still friends. I sort of like meet their families, their present, current, future, past, everything.” While agreeing that this is not a very good trait, Rashmika added, “But I have a very good relationship with them. So that’s good.”
Recently, she was also asked to react to the rumours about her relationship status with Vijay Deverakonda. She said, “It is all so cute no. I am like aiyoo babu. It is so cute. Yeah. See Vijay and I have done so much work together, too early in our career. When we don’t know how the industry is, and suddenly you work with like-minded people, you sort of like become friends, and you have a lot of common friends. I have this gang in Hyderabad, he has this gang in Hyderabad. And we have a lot of mutual friends. It’s like that. It’s so cute when the whole world is like ‘Rashmika and Vijay’, that’s cute. I have to work with him really soon. If there’s a story for us then we should do it. It’s going to be fun. We are good actors, we won’t disappoint the directors.”
For the unversed, Rashmika was previously engaged to Rakshit Shetty after her debut in Kannada. She fell in love with him on the sets of Kirrik Party and the two got engaged in 2017. However, they broke off their engagement in 2018. Then, speculations about Rashmika and Vijay Devarakonda dating have been making rounds ever since the release of Geetha Govindham. Recently, when Vijay and Ananya made their presence felt at Koffee With Karan, Ananya hinted that the two may be dating each other. However, both Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda have denied this, and have time and again said that the two are only friends.
The actress, who was last seen in Sita Ramam, is now working on a number of films. While she awaits the release of her debut, Goodbye, she is also filming for Animal along with Ranbir Kapoor and for Varisu along with Vijay. She is meanwhile awaiting the release of Mission Majnu co-starring Siddharth Malhotra. The sequel of Pushpa titled Pushpa: The Rule has gone on floors, and she is playing her role as Srivalli in that film too.
