Mustafa and Ayesha allegedly separated in 2013. Mustafa then married Priyamani in 2017. On asking Ayesha about the case, “Mustafa is still married to me. Mustafa and Priyamani’s marriage is invalid. We have not even filed for divorce and while marrying Priyamani, he declared in the court that he was a bachelor.” she said.
On asking Mustafa’s side of the story, he said, “The charges against me are false. I am paying the children’s maintenance to Ayesha regularly. She is simply trying to extort money from me.” He also said that Ayesha and him have lived separately since 2010 and got a divorce in 2013. He then asked why Ayesha waited for so long to file a case against him.
As for the delay, Ayesha said, “As a mother of two children, what can you do? One tries to sort it out amicably but only when it doesn’t work out, some steps need to be taken because you don’t want to lose out on time which he has been using against me now.”
Priyamani was last seen in Narappa, the Telugu remake of Asuran where she reprised the role of Manju Warrier. She recently gained a lot of fame after the release of the second season of The Family Man. Apart from these, she is currently working on a number of films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
