Recently actor Prabhas’ fans flooded the internet with speculations that Prabhas will be joining Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible 7. Following these speculations, few Indian publications such as Times of India and Pinkvilla, amongst others also reported the possibility of Prabhas being roped into the movie. However, very much to the disappointment of fans, the director of the movie Christopher McQuarrie has clarified against these speculations and rumours.

The director took to his Twitter page to clarify the same. On Wednesday, he responded to a curious fan, who asked for some clarification over actor Prabhas’ being associated with Mission Impossible 7. In his tweet, Christopher McQuarrie wrote: “While he’s a very talented man, we’ve never met. Welcome to the internet.”

Earlier, a tweet was made from a fan-club twitter account stating that Prabhas met the director when he went to Italy to shoot for his upcoming movie Radhe Shyam. This is considered as the source that triggered the series of discussions and speculations by fans.

On the professional front, Prabhas, who was last seen on Saaho, has signed up for ‘Radhe Shyam’ where he is acting along with Pooja Hegde and ‘Adipurush’ which is based on Ramayana and is being directed by Om Raut. He is also a part of ‘Salaar’ starring Shruthi Haasan as the leading lady. All three films are in the shooting stage.
