Speaking about the extensive Media coverage about his and Samantha’s separation, the ThankYou actor said, “We both came out and put our statements and we both have immense respect for each other. I always look up to what she is doing. And there will always be great respect for her. That’s about it. We said what we have too. Beyond that, it’s just people trying to fill up columns and there’s nothing else. I mean I’m bored of it. I have been through three releases and I’m still attached to it.”
It is now going to be a year since the couple announced their separation in October 2021. In a recent interview, when asked if he would be acting with Samantha, Naga Chaitanya said, “That’s gonna be crazy if it happens. But I don’t know, only the universe knows. Let’s see.”
Speaking about learning to manage his personal and professional life together, he said, “Of course, I did. “That’s why I’m staying like this. I mean we have to basically draw a very clear line between personal and professional life. And not let both sorts of overlap. I think as long as you can find that sanity and do that, you will be fine. News replaces news and that’s what I always say. I mean tomorrow there’s something else, day after there’s something else so just keep focusing on what you are set to do and entertain people with your films. And that will shine.”
On the work front, Naga Chaithanya just saw the release of Thank You. He is now awaiting the release of Laal Singh Chadda, Aamir Khan’s remake of Forrest Gump. He is also working on an untitled Venkat Prabhu film simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil.
Meanwhile, Samantha is working on Kushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda, and Yashodha, while she awaits the release of Shaakunthalam. Recently it was also reported that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to grace the Indian Film Festival Melbourne which is is all set to flag off on August 12th.
