Gautami has been a part of campaigns that drives women forces. She has always been outspoken about her ideologies, opinionated and has never ever cared about people judging her. Her speeches and messages have always been pretty inspirational.

On International Women’s Day Gautami celebrated underprivileged women who are battling everyday to achieve and aspiring young girls who are the future of our Nation. She fed them, talked to them and further added that she is proud spend time with these unsung heroes.

Kamal Haasan, the president of Makkal Needhi Maiyam inaugarated Vijayalakshmi Centre for women health and Hygiene. It is an initiative by the one and only ‘Padman’ Arunachalam Muruganandham, the man behind low cost sanitary pad vending machines and the inspiration for the movie ‘Padman’.
