TRENDING: Jyothika To Play Prabhas’ sister?

‘Salaar’ an upcoming Prabhas movie starring Shruti Haasan in a leading role is directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie is being shot in Kannada and Telugu and being dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil. The movie, which is touted to be an action-thriller has only released three cast members as of now, including Madhu Guruswamy who will be playing a pivotal role in the movie. Now, speculations are that Tamil actress Jyothika is all set to play Prabhas’ sister in the movie.

While fans have been awaiting a much needed update about the movie, the rumours have made rounds across social media. However, there is no official update from the team about this. Prashanth Neel is famous for the movie ‘K.G.F’ that became a success. Prabhas fans have been anticipating updates regarding this collaboration. However the only thing we know for now is that Prabhas is going to be playing a violent character and that he is undergoing intense training sessions to get a beefed-up look.

The film was formally launched in Hyderabad in January 2021 with actors like Yash, Ram Charan and several others attending it. On the professional front, Prabhas, who was last seen on Saaho, has also signed up for ‘Radhe Shyam’ where is acting along with Pooja Hegde and ‘Adipurush’ which is based on Ramayana and is directed by Om Raut. All three films are in the shooting stage.

On the other hand, Jyothika was last seen in ‘Ponmagal Vandhal’ in 2020 after her role as Karthi’s sister in the film ‘Thambi’ in 2019. Fans await the official announcement of this amazing collaboration.
