Actor Harish Kalyan who started his Tamil film career with Sindhu Samaveli and Aridhu Aridhu in 2010, claimed his fame through the popular Tamil reality show Bigg Boss, when he made an appearance as a wildcard contestant in the first season. He completed the entire season and ended up as the season’s 4th runner-up. The actor then went on to do a number of films including Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, Ispade Raajavum Idhaya Raaniyum and Dharala Prabhu. Yesterday morning, the actor took to the news world into a frenzy by posting a photo where he was holding hands with his fiance. Media houses wondered if he had already tied the knot at a private ceremony, or whether he had just gotten engaged. At the same time, many also wondered who the girl could be.

Then, later in the evening, Harish took to his Instagram to officially introduce his would-be. “With all my heart, for all my life  I love you 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐔𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫, my wife-to-be. I hope you all shower her with double the amount of love that you people have shown me, now & always
To love that flows like a river. Abundant & beautiful உடம்பொடு உயிரிடை என்னமற் றன்ன
மடந்தையொடு எம்மிடை நட்பு.” he wrote in the caption along with the photo of them together. Actors and other members of the film fraternity poured their love and wishes to the new couple on the eve of their engagement.

On Instagram, Harish’s fiance Narmada has an account which is privatet. However, from her social media we know that she is a part of two businesses. The first one is called Clique Designs and is mentioned as a Marketing agency. The page mentions that the company does  social media marketing, graphic designing and branding. The other business is called ‘this is her.in’ and looks like it is a company that sells notebooks and to-do lists designed/made by women, for women. Both these companies look very creative and colourful.

On Twitter, Harish shared a big note about his future wife. Harish’s note read, “I have been fortunate enough to have experienced the gift of unconditional love and affection all through my life. Right from my childhood, where my parents encouraged every little dream of mine, and now where you all, have shown me so much love and support; each of you that helped me imprint my little steps in the world of Cinema. Sharing every success and milestone with you has been the most satisfying part of my journey. And now, with a heart full of happiness, I am writing to share the joy of celebrating the start of an important journey in my personal life. With the blessings of our parents, families, friends from film fraternity and otherwise, media/press fraternity, my dear most fans and all well-wishers, I am delighted to announce my marriage with Narmada Udayakumar. As we embark on a new life journey to explore and reinvent ourselves together, we seek double the blessings and love from you all, now and always.”

Harish Kalyan was last seen in Oh Manapenne co-starring Priya Bhavani Shankar. Meanwhile, the actor is working on a film titled Star, and has completed Sasi’s Nooru Kodi Vaanavil co-starring Siddhi Idnani. He is also awaiting the release of another film titled Diesel.
