TRENDING: Dhanush Confirms His Next With Selvaraghavan; Says He Wants To Make His Brother “Proud”!

We wonder what these two will make together!

Selvaraghavan’s recent direction was NGK starring Suriya, Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi in the lead role. The film was most anticipated but fell flat due to its weak narrative. Selvaraghavan himself has a lot of anticipation for the kind of peculiar stories he chooses to direct. However, his combination with Dhanush is the most loved. Thulluvadho Ilamai, Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna were critically acclaimed.

As the fifth film, it has been confirmed that Selvaraghavan is all set to direct Dhanush in yet another film. Selvaraghavan made the announcement earlier that it would be Pudhupettai 2. “People have been asking me about my next film after NGK. I’m making this announcement just for you. I am saying this just for my fans. I am going to team up with Dhanush for my next film. We were discussing what to do next and decided to make Pudhupettai 2,” said the director.

However, there was no word from Dhanush’s side regarding the same. Now, Dhanush has also shared the news on Twitter. “Selvaraghavan + yuvan + aravind krishna… well well … right where I started. Very happy to join my maker, my creator and the only reason I’m here today my brother @selvaraghavan again. I hope this time at least I impress him,” wrote Dhanush.

The same team of music director and cinematographer are onboard. The rest of the cast are soon to be revealed.

The film will be produced by Kalaipuli S. Dhanu of V Creations who is also producing Dhanush’s Karnan directed by Mari Selvaraj.

Apart from these films, Dhanush also has The Gray Man and Atrangi Re in Hollywood and Bollywood respectively.
