Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru has been hitting the headlines for the past one week after the film received 5 National Awards this year. Suriya, Aparna Balamurali won awards for acting and Sudha Kongara won it for Best Screenplay. The film was re-watched by many after the acclamations it received. Now, a deleted fight scene has surfaced on the Internet, and it is going viral.

The movie is now being remade in Hindi and this scene is reportedly going to be a part of the Hindi version of the film. Fans are beyond joyful to watch their favourite Maaran onscreen again. Watch the video here:

Soorarai Pottru is based on the life of GR Gopinath, who’s goal was to introduce airline travel for even people who cannot afford it. The film follows his journey of hardships he had to face in terms of competition and investments to achieve his dream.  The film has already received many awards and appreciation. Due to the pandemic, it premiered on Amazon Prime. On the occasion of Actor Suriya’s birthday, the film was released in Chennai in select theatres for Suriya fans. The hindi version of the film stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan.
