Amy Jackson started her career in Kollywood in 2010 when she played a British woman in Madarasapattinam. She played the role of a British woman who was in love with a Tamil man  The actress started her career with an AL Vijay film. After 2018, she had taken a small break from acting, and she even gave birth to her son. Now, she is all set to make a comeback with another AL Vijay film.

She is acting along with Arun Vijay in AL Vijay’s next titled Acham Enbathu Illaye. The highlight of it all, just like her first film, she is acting as a British woman in her comeback film too. “The film is special for both Vijay and Amy, who is returning to the big screen after the 2018 release 2.0,” says a source, “The team started shooting in September in London, where major portions of the film will be canned.”

The movie also stars Nimisha Sajayan of ‘Malik’ fame. The team earlier released a small teaser showing glimpses of their shoot in London. “It’s an out-and-out action fare, with emotions at its heart. The makers felt that Arun Vijay would be the right fit to play the protagonist as the character is the right mix of brain and brawn. Apart from London, a few portions of the film will also be canned in Chennai. About 40 per cent of the shoot is over, and the team will head to London again in November,” the source added.

On the work front, Amy Jackson was last seen in 2.0 as a robot ‘Nila’. She has acted in 8 Tamil films so far, and with time she has become believable as a Tamil girl. Theri with Vijay and I with Vikram have become the highlights of her career. She has also acted in 4 Hindi films, after she made her debut with Ekk Deewana Thaa in 2012. She has also done films in Telugu, Kannada and English. After Mafia1 in 2020, Arun Vijay was seen in 3 films this year. He did Oh My Dog along with his son Arnav Vijay. He was then seen in films like Sinam and Yaanai. Now, he is awaiting the release of his long delayed Borrder. The movie was supposed to release this week but got postponed because of the release of Ponniyin Selvan which is doing extremely well in theatres.
