After Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in April, she took to her Instagram to announce that the couple was expecting their first child.  On Sunday, there was good news from the couple. They became parents as they welcomed a baby girl. Alia was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Sunday morning. She was later joined by Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan as well. The actors then welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, confirmed Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Alia delivered the baby at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai just hours after she arrived at the hospital with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. Hearty congratulations to the couple. We now await the name of the youngest addition to the Kapoor family.

Alia Bhatt’s team immediately shared a post on Instagram that read, “And in the best news of our lives: Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!!” The note was signed with ‘love love love’ by Alia and Ranbir.” According to a media house, Ranbir was extremely emotional while holding his baby girl for the first time. He apparently cried happy tears and made the other family members tear up as well. Now, Alia Bhatt has been reportedly been discharged from the hospital. Paparazzi caught the couple in the wee hours today as Alia and Ranbir were returning home in their car. In a video, Ranbir is seen holding his newborn while Alia is seen waving at the media.

Alia and Ranbir married in Mumbai in April. The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony that was attended by their close friends and family. Alia will soon be seen in the international spy-thriller ‘Heart of Stone’ alongside Gal Gadot, and Jamie Dorman. She was also filming for Rocky or Rani ki Prem Kahani and Heart of Stone. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is filming for Animal costarring Rashmika Mandanna.
