Bollywood’s newest couple Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have now announced that they will be tying the knot soon. The couple met on the sets of Fukrey in 2013. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The couple who were good friends after Fukrey met again on Fukrey Returns in 2017. They eventually started dating and announced to their fans that they are together. In 2021, they starred together in Call My Agent: Bollywood as their real selves. They act as a couple who fall in love on sets as actors. That particular episode in the series was the most loved.
Now, they’re wedding is announced to begin on September 30 and end on October 7th. The wedding is set to take place in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai in the presence of close family and friends. Two grand receptions will be held in Delhi and Mumbai on October 2 and 7, respectively, apart from other celebratory events. The newlyweds are set to return for Lamba’s Fukrey 3. Richa was recently seen as the main protagonist of Madam Chief Minister directed by Subhash Kapoor. Ali Fazal has had a successful career in both Bollywood and Hollywood. He recently starred in Death on the Nile (2022), directed by Kenneth Branagh, based on the Agatha Christie book of the same name.
The duo, who has been waiting to get married for a long time, had earlier changed the schedule because of the COVID-19 restrictions. The actress had said that every time they thought of getting married, a new COVID-19 variant would come. Notably, the couple had also booked the venues in 2020, but because of the first COVID-19 wave and lockdown, they had to postpone the wedding. That wasn’t it. The duo again started wedding planning in February the following year, but as fate would have it, the second COVID-19 wave stuck in the country.
