TRENDING: Aishwarya Rajesh To Be The Lead In The Remake Of The Great Indian Kitchen!

Aishwarya keeps choosing some brilliant roles!

Aishwarya Rajesh is one of those very rare actresses who chooses roles that are not just wise but intriguing as well. We know that if Aishwarya Rajesh is a part of a film, its bound to be interesting and spine-tingling – that’s the charisma she carries as an actor. When Ka Pae Ranasingam released, we wondered how someone could catch hold of a news story we only skim through and end up making a brilliant character out of it. Today she has chosen yet another role that is bound to be promising, brilliant and a character only she could pull off.

It has been confirmed that the blockbuster Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen will be remade in Tamil and Aishwarya would be sporting the female lead in it. Rahul Ravindran, an actor, a director and singer Chinmayi’s husband would reportedly sport the role of male lead in the film.

“It’s a fantastic role and a lovely script. I have seen the original and it’s an absolutely phenomenal film. It’s a story that should be told in all the Indian languages. Its theme is universal as far as our subcontinent is concerned,” says Rahul, adding, “Kannan has known my wife for at least 20 years, since the time he was an AD to Mani Ratnam sir and she would sing or dub for his films. He had also attended the screening of my film Vinmeengal and sweetly told me what he thought of the film. When out of the blue, he came to me with this offer, I was surprised. I told him I was eager to work with him. It’s a great team. And one of the biggest perks is I get to work with someone as talented as Aishwarya,” said Rahul in an interview with Times of India.

Rahul directed the Nagarjuna-Rakul Preet starrer Manmadhudu 2 and he had debuted as an actor with the film Moscowin Kaveri.
