Hemanth and Chitra stayed together at a hotel and Chitra after a late night’s shoot had returned to her hotel. Hemanth then claimed that his wife had asked him to wait outside while she goes to take a shower. After a prolonged time, a worried Hemanth had reportedly taken the help of the Hotel’s manager to get access to his room to find Chitra hanging from the ceiling. Hemanth was then taken into custody for further investigation regarding the untimely death. During the first day he revealed that the couple was legally married via registration.
After a couple more days, Chitra’s mother had claimed that something was fishy about Hemanth’s behaviour and accused him of allegedly killing her daughter.
After six days of scrutinizing and intereogation, Hemanth has been arrested and taken into custody for abetting the actress’ suicide. According to the reports, Hemanath was arrested and was produced at the Poonamalle High Court. During a recent media interaction, the Police claimed that they have gathered enough evidence to issue a public arrest.
The reports further claim that Hemanath was not comfortable about Chitra performing intimate scenes in her serials and the reality dance shows. He even dropped by her sets of the popular TV show Pandian Stores and scolded her after they had a fight about the same. Chitra’s famiky has now demanded a fair trail out of this case.
On the work front, Chitra is known for her performance in serials like Saravanan Meenatchi, Velunachi, Darling Darling, Mannan Magal and Chinna Papa Periya Papa, to name a few. As a dancer, Chithra took part as one of the contestants of the show Jodi Fun Unlimited also.
