Thalapathy Vijay’s Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film also starring Malavika Mohanan, Gauri Kishan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj among others has Anirudh composing the music of the film. Some of the tracks from the album are already a huge hit and once the theaters open up, team Master will soon begin its promotions and eventually release the film.

The teaser has won hearts but the exciting news of its Pongal Release has gotten fans all excited. However, extra precautionary measures have been taken by the Government to make sure the spread of the deadly COVID-19 is contained. Now, a new report has come up stating that Thalapathy Vijay has met with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami requesting him to permit theatres to run with 100 percent audience capacity.

While the fans of the actor are excited about this, some say that this is not a healthy move since a cluster could still be hazardous.

It is speculated that Malavika would be sporting the role of a professor in the film. One of the film’s writers and director of Aadai, Rathinakumar wished the actress on her birthday confirming that that is indeed the role. He commented, “Happy birthday, Professor.”

Initially it was speculated that the movie might be released in an OTT platform. However, actor Vijay had already confirmed through his producer Xavier Britto that he wants his fans to experience the film in the theatre. So Master Will stay put for a proper theater release.
