This year may have been one of the most difficult years mankind has faced but this has given everyone a chance to bond with their loved ones away from their busy schedule. Some of them even found love and made it work despite the severe lockdown. Here are six of our celebrities who tied the knot during the lockdown and made it forever:

1. Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj

Millions of hearts were broken as actor Rana Daggubati announced his engagement to designer and entrepreneur Miheeka Bajaj. The duo has now tied the knot on August 8th and their wedding pictures are going viral.

During an interview with CinemaExpress, Rana was asked if he thinks life will change post marriage with Miheeka. To this, he quickly denied and said, “She is so supportive and always keeps things easy for me.”

Rana and Miheeka’s wedding was an intimate ceremony. From designer masks for their guests to sanitizing every nook and corner, it was a difficult but a successful.

2. Nithiin Reddy and Shalini

Nithiin tied the knot to Shalini, an MBA graduate. The couple has been dating for over four years and eventually ended up engaged. In July, Nithiin and Shalini tied the knot. They had a rather lavish wedding considering all the precautions in mind. The couple had invited only its close family members and close friends to attend their wedding.

3. Nikhil Gowda and Revathi

Nikhil Kumaraswamy, actor and son of former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy married Revathi in April at his farmhouse in Bidadi, Karnataka. It was during the month of April that India had announced a complete lockdown. Only close family members were seen at the wedding.

4. Kajal Aggarwal and Gautam Kitchlu

Kajal Aggarwal tied the knot with her best friend of 10 years Gautam Kitchlu on October 31st in Mumbai.

The actor believes that the pandemic played a very crucial role in her marriage decision. “Earlier, we had the luxury of meeting very often at several places but when the pandemic struck and we used to get only a couple of minutes at a grocery store buying essentials and wearing masks, we realized how hard it was for us to stay apart from each other. That is when we decided that we wanted to stay together for the rest of our lives. We take time and people for granted and only during such trying times we realize the worth and value of relationships. We have been each other’s constant for a decade and there was no way anybody could have understood us as individuals as we had each other,” insists the new bride. Gautam, made the gentlemanly gesture and came to meet Kajal’s parents, and there began their official love story.

5. Niharika Konidela and Chaitanya

Niharika Konidela and Chaitanya KV have tied the knot in a rather grand ceremony at Udaipur and the Ram Charan-Allu Arjun family came together for the royal celebrations. They also had quite an intimate but a rather grand ceremony.

6. Sujeeth Reddy and Pravalika

Saaho director Sujeeth Reddy tied the knot with his ladylove Pravalika on August 2nd in Hyderabad in an intimate ceremony with only family members. Pravalika happens to be a dentist by profession.
