Actor Nayanthara entered the film industry way back in 2003 with the Sathyan Anthikad’s Malayalam film ‘Manassinakkare’. As a Malayali, she entered the Mollywood industry first, and then entered the Tamil film industry only with ‘Ayya’ in 2005. She rose to fame with films like Chandramukhi, Vallavan and Billa. Now, she has a huge fan following in the Tamil film industry, and is one of the leading actors in the industry.

In an interview during her early days, Nayanthara was asked about her very first shooting experience; whether she was nervous or comfortable. Replying to the same she said, “I was not nervous at all when I gave my first shot. Because, the director made me very very comfortable. I went 2 days before to the shooting spot, as I had never witnessed shooting before that. I watched the shooting and mingled with the cast to get comfortable with them.”

Speaking about her exact scene, she said, “I was called on the third day, and was told that it was my shot. Then, I tried some expression and it worked out!” She cheerfully shares that she does not even remember what she did back then.

Now, this Kollywood star is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Atlee’s Jawaan, where is acting opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The actor, who was last seen in O2, is awaiting the release of ‘Gold’ along with Prithiviraj Sukumaran in Malayalam. Meanwhile, she is filming for a number of films including, ‘Iraivan’, ‘Connect’ and ‘Godfather’. She recently went on a honeymoon with her husband to Thailand, and has dived deep into work ever since.
