Sai Pallavi charmed us with her beautiful acting in Premam. Following her path, her sister Pooja Kannan too has taken up acting and recently made her debut in the Tamil short film, Kaara. The movie directed by 19-year-old Ajith Aju, stars Pooja Kannan, Kathir, Vishnu Priya, Jeevitha Rajendran, Visweshwaram, Karthick Gonsalvas, Naveen Roshan, Manoj Kumar, Saranavan, Rehana Khan, Ranjitha, Dhivya Sreenivasan, Anand and Gowtham in significant roles.
Kaara released on May 3, 2017 and is trending at number 6 in Youtube. The short film has reached more than one and a half lakh views. The film features a tomboyish image of Pooja who rides motorcycles.
The film’s first look was released last year in October by Sai Pallavi. Ever since then, there has been quite a buzz about the film. “Kaara is the name of an angel that symbolizes love and Pooja plays the titular character but she is just the opposite of the character that she is playing in the short film,” says Director Ajith when asked about the film.
