It is Thalaivar aka Kollywood’s Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to shoot his 161st film and we cannot be more excited. The choice of leading ladies and Bollywood actors in his recent films have been quite interesting starting with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Endhiran, Deepika Padukone for Kochadaiiyan, Sonakshi Sinha for Lingaa, Radhika Apte for Kabali and Akshay Kumar for Endhiran 2.0. Sticking to the line of Bollywood leads in his films, the latest to join is this Bollywood newbie who has done well for herself in the acting aspect of it and is still growing up the Bollywood ladder.

Huma Qureshi has been finalized as the next leading lady for Superstar Rajinikanth’s next directed by Pa. Ranjith. It has also been confirmed that his son-in-law and Kollywood’s star Dhanush will be producing his father-in-law’s film under the home banner Wunderbar films. “The makers were keen on casting Huma in the romantic lead opposite megastar Rajinikanth as she fits the requirements of the role,” a statement said.

The first schedule of the film is said to commence in Mumbai by the end of this month. Rajinikanth was last seen in the movie Kabali alongside Dhansika and Radhika Apte. He has completed filming Shankar’s Endhiran 2.0 which is now in the post-production process. While Huma Qureshi was last seen in the Bollywood flick Jolly LLB 2 alongside Akshay Kumar. She is currently filming a British-Indian movie named Viceroy’s House.
