Thiruchitrambalam: Nithya Menen shares an interesting detail about the movie!

The trailer for Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam co-starring Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna, and Priya Bhavani Shankar was released yesterday. The film is most likely to be a comedy-drama, directed by Mithran Jawahar who also directed Dhanush’s Uthamaputhiran and Kutty. Ahead of the film’s release, actor Nithya Menen shares her experience working with Dhanush and also an interesting detail about the film.

In a recent interview, Nithya Menen said, “Thiruchitrambalam is a very beautiful story. Dhanush usually has a zone, which is being a part of a lower-middle-class environment which he understands very well.” The actor then added that she is not used to that zone and that she had to observe Dhanush to get used to the same. She then explained that the movie is a family drama entertainer. In the movie Bharathiraja is said to play Dhanush’s grandfather, while Prakash Raj plays his father.

She also revealed that ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ is a family-oriented film that follows men coming from 3 different generations. Meanwhile, on the work front, Nithya Menen is awaiting the release of Aaram Thirukalpana and an Untitled Anjali Menon film, apart from Thiruchitrambalam. She has also signed up for a Telugu short film called Color of a Nation. She entered the film industry in 1998 as a child artist with a Kannada and an English film. She them made a Malayalam debut as a lead with Akasha Gopuram.

Raashi Khanna is awaiting the release of Sardar, starring Karthi, and is filming for a Hindi film called Yodha, co-starring Sidarth Malhotra. Lastly, Priya Bhavani Shankar, is awaiting the release of Bommai, Rudhran and Agilan, while she is also filming for Pathu Thala and Indian 2.
