The South Film Industry Was Neglected: Ram Charan’s Wife Upasana Questions PM Narendra Modi!

A very valid point!

Over the weekend, the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi had a conference followed by a meet and greet session with the film personalities and cultural leaders marking the 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. The group talked about films and responsible film-making. The event took place in Delhi and stars like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kangana Ranaut, Rakul Preet Singh, Ekta Kapoor, Raj Kumar Hirani, Anand L Rai among others.

However, one thing that missed was seeing celebrities from the South film Industry. Respectfully pointing it out superstar Ram Charan’s wife and successful entrepreneur Upasana Kamineni Konidela said, “Dearest @narendramodi Ji. We in the South of INDIA admire you & are Proud to have you as our Prime Minister. With all due respect, we felt that the representation of Leading personalities & cultural icons was limited only to Hindi Artists and The South Film Industry was neglected. I express my feelings with pain & hope it’s taken in the right spirit. Jai Hind.”
