Vijay has now started shooting for ‘Thalapathy 65’,. When the muhurta pooja was held this week in a studio in Chennai it was observed that Bigg Boss kavin was present in the event. Pictures from the pooja surfaced social media and the internet and the hashtag #Thalapathy65 is trending since then. Rumors of the Bigg Boss fame actor Kavin being a part of the film also went viral. However as per the latest report, Kavin is not part of Vijay’s film.
The actor is not part of ‘Thalapathy 65’. Kavin earlier worked as an assistant director to Nelson Dhilipkumar in Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘Doctor’. Meanwhile, VTV Ganesh is playing an important role, and it is his first film with Vijay in his 11 years as an actor. On the work front Kavin is awaiting the release of the upcoming venture ‘Lift’, which got postponed due to lockdown.
As soon as this was confirmed, speculations surrounded around Vijay’s next film, the untitled Thalapathy 66. Several big names including Atlee and Lokesh Kanagaraj were also considered. However, looks like it another big director won Vijay’s heart and it is none other than the Asuran director Vetri Maaran. Vijay wanted to collaborate with Vetri Maaran for his 65th film but due to his prior commitments with actor Suriya’s Vaadivaasal and actor Soori’s untitled next.
However, Vetri Maaran is now keen on directing the Mersal actor and in fact is seen pacing his previous shoots to sit for script reading with Vijay.
