Thala Ajith’s Team Uses Drones to Sanitise Chennai’s Corona red zones!

With the number of positive cases rising due to the coronavirus, people from all walks of life are doing their bit to help those in need. In times like this where every small gesture is important, many celebrities have come forward to help those in need. The team of students from a Chennai based college mentored by actor Ajith is in the process of spraying disinfectant with the help of drones in the red zones of the city. The team, which is mentored by Thala Ajith, has won several medals and accolades in 2019. The city based college has Thala Ajith as the ‘Helicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviser’.

Actor Ajith also donated a sum of Rs.1.25 crores to help those in need during the lockdown. The actor donated fifty lakhs to the PM cares fund and the Tamil Nadu CMs fund respectively. In addition to that the actor donated Rs. 25 lakhs towards the welfare society film employees federation of South India.

Many celebrities have stepped forward to help during these tough times.  Actor Vijay too donated a sum of Rs.1.30 crores towards the PM cares fund, Tamil Nadu chief minister’s relief fund, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherrys CM relief fund.

The actor also donated Rs.25 lakhs towards FEFSI to improve the livelihood of the daily wage labourers.

Rakul Preet Singh 

The actress and her family have been preparing food for over two fifty families living near her home. The actress serves food twice a day and says that she will do so until the situation improves.

Shah Rukh Khan 

Actor Shah Rukh Khans production company has announced various initiatives to help those in need during the lockdown. The actor donated to the PM cares funds, Maharashtra CMs relief fund and various other foundations established to help those in need.  That’s not all, the actor and his wife Gauri Khan have Guggenheim up their personal office space for quarantine purposes.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar 

This Kollywood actress has always been vocal about her love for animals, during the lockdown the actress has taken it upon herself to feed numerous stray dogs.  The actress requested her followers to donate to the Save Shakti foundation that will help feed stray animals.
