Team Member Accuses Atlee Of Ill-treating Junior Artists; Director Clarifies!

She accused Atlee’s team of Ill-treatment!

Atlee has been one of the most successful directors considering the fact that he has learnt a lot from assisting director Shankar. His films ‘Theri’ and ‘Mersal’ performed decently at the box-office and the sets he creates are beautiful. As Atlee is gearing up for his next yet again with his favourite Vijay, the ‘Thalapathy 63’ is in full swing. Nayanthara is officially the female lead of the film and we are quite sure that her role would make a great difference.

She has also wrapped up the first schedule of the film before leaving to Bombay to shoot ‘Darbar’ with Superstar Rajinikanth. As things are gearing up for the film, a new allegation was imposed on him – a junior artist named Krishna Devi has filed a complaint against the director’s assistants for ill-treating her and for not providing all the required basic facilities at the shooting spot the junior artists deserve. She was allegedly treated badly by the assistant directors and was sent out of the sets.

In her petition, Devi wrote, “I was working for the film which Atlee is directing, during their schedule at the EVP Film City. While I was doing my job, Atlee and his assistants spoke very ill of me, and made me walk out of the spot. I request immediate enquiries and action to be taken upon Atlee and his assistants.” Devi further added that Atlee’s assistants had screamed at her because she didn’t serve them good food during the shoot.

Earlier an assistant director had filed a case against Atlee for allegedly lifting his story for his next with Vijay. However, Atlee has been seen paying no heed to the allegations and has his full concentration on the football match that is touted to occur in the film.

The film stars Vijay, Nayanthara, Kathir, Daniel BalajiJackie Shroff, Indhuja, Yogi Babu, Vivek, and Anandaraj sporting different roles. Rumour has it that Shah Rukh Khan might play the antagonist in the film. It would be larger than life if that happens. The film will be produced by AGS Entertainment.
