Academy Award winner A R Rahman recently won a million hearts by rejecting a Canadian citizenship. The Mayor of Canada invited ARR to settle in Canada to which he responded in the sweetest way possible: “I’m well settled and happy in Tamil Nadu, India with my family, friends and the people there.” He further added, “Thank you for your kind invitation to set up a base in Canada, Mr. Mayor. I’m indeed very touched and moved by your gesture.”

A R Rahman has scored music for Mani Ratnam’s upcoming flick ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ starring Karthi Sivakumar and Aditi Rao Hydari. According to reports, he will also be scoring music for Atlee’s next with Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Samantha, Kajal and Nithya Menon.
