This sparked a debate on Nepotism in the film industry. In a recent interview with Hindustan times, Devi actress Tamannah voiced her opinion on the topic. She said that it does exist but not only in film industry but everywhere. But it does not determine the success of an artist.
She said to the English daily“Coming from Mumbai, when I started doing Tamil and Telugu films, I neither knew the languages, nor did I know anyone in the industry. So I had no connection whatsoever. I worked hard and kept getting opportunities may be because people saw potential in me. Whatever success or failure I got on my way was because of my efforts and destiny. Nepotism and favoritism exist in all fields and not just entertainment. Such things cannot determine your success or failure”
Tamannah Bhatia added, “Tomorrow, if my child wants to become an actor in the film industry, there is nothing wrong in that.”
Tamannaah Bhatia will soon be seen in her own talk show, according to various reports. The show will be produced by Producer Allu Aravind and will stream on Tamannaah Bhatia’s an OTT platform.
