Tamannah Reveals About Nepotism, Calls herself an ‘Outsider’!

It came as a shocker when Bollywood’s Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai Apartment where the Police had confirmed that it was indeed a suicide. Many from Bollywood have been mourning the loss of one of its finest actors including director/producer Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor and Kriti Sanon among many others. However, Karan Johar’s message has not been taken well by the audience and neither has Alia Bhatt’s or Sonam Kapoor’s. Artists from within the industry have pointed finger at the director for promoting nepotism, at actor Salman Khan for not letting newcomers survive in the industry without his consent and all the actors and actresses who have been products of nepotism.

This sparked a debate on Nepotism in the film industry. In a recent interview with Hindustan times, Devi actress Tamannah voiced her opinion on the topic. She said that it does exist but not only in film industry but everywhere. But it does not determine the success of an artist.

She said to the English daily“Coming from Mumbai, when I started doing Tamil and Telugu films, I neither knew the languages, nor did I know anyone in the industry. So I had no connection whatsoever. I worked hard and kept getting opportunities may be because people saw potential in me. Whatever success or failure I got on my way was because of my efforts and destiny. Nepotism and favoritism exist in all fields and not just entertainment. Such things cannot determine your success or failure”

Tamannah Bhatia added, “Tomorrow, if my child wants to become an actor in the film industry, there is nothing wrong in that.”

Tamannaah Bhatia will soon be seen in her own talk show, according to various reports. The show will be produced by Producer Allu Aravind and will stream on Tamannaah Bhatia’s an OTT platform. Read ahead to know the entire story. According to media reports top Tollywood stars like Allu Arjun, Ram Charan ,  Ravi Teja and others will be talking to Tamannah Bhatia in this talk show.

The actress recently has catered to the needs of over ten thousand people across slums, shelters and old age homes.
