Tamannah is one of the leading actresses in the South, who started her career in 2005. She has acted in 70-plus films in languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and even Kannada. However, the actress has still not acted in Malayalam, and she is all set to make her debut soon.

Tamannaah Bhatia has now teamed up with Malayalam star Dileep for an upcoming film, directed by Arun Gopy. Tentatively titled D147, the film will mark the debut of Tamannaah in Mollywood. It is directed by Arun Gopy and bankrolled by Vinayaka Ajith. D147 is written by Udaykrishna. The film was officially launched today with a formal pooja ceremony.

The currently untitled film had its pooja today at the Maha Ganapati Temple in Kerala. Tamannah was seen wearing a traditional Kerala beige saree with golden blouse and Dileep was wearing a traditional mundu. The photos of the newest Mollywood onscreen couple is going viral on social media. The shoot for this film is all set to begin on September 10th.

Meanwhile, in 2017, actress Bhavana Menon was abducted and allegedly molested after returning back from her work in the evening. Actor Dileep is one of the accused in the case. Later, the police accused him and others of conspiring to kill the investigating officers in the case. Also, the case is currently in court.

Reports earlier suggested that Rajinikanth was to romance Tamannah in Jailer. The latest update is that the latter is only doing a cameo and will only be in the film for a short screentime. This has now started rumours that Tamannah is probably going to be portrayed as Rajini’s daughter in the film and that her portions will come in the flashback.

On the work front, Tamannah who was last seen in F3, is now filming only for Bhola Shankar, a remake of the Tamil film Vedalam. She is awaiting the release of 4 films, including, Babli Bouncer, Bole Chudiyan, Plan A Plan B, and Gurthunda Seethakalam. Except for the last one, all other three films are in Hindi. In Babli Bouncer, she is all set to be playing a dual role, one of a male character and one of a female character. She is co-starring with Sathyadev Kancharana in Gurthunda Seethakalam. She has also completed shooting for a Hindi web-series called Jee Karda for Amazon Prime.
